Sam Deck, DVM

Dr. Sam Deck grew up in New Jersey where she played softball, soccer, and basketball until college. She continued to play club softball at James Madison University, earning her bachelor’s degree there.  Dr. Deck then pursued her DVM degree at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2024. During her time at Ross, she was a part of VIDA (affordable options for medical and surgical care on the island of St. Kitts).

Dr. Deck recently moved to Little River to be close to family and to join Animal Hospital of North Myrtle Beach as an associate veterinarian. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and is certified Fear Free.

Dr. Deck’s favorite part of veterinary medicine is not only helping animals but building relationships with her clients and their pets for a lifetime. She is very interested in diagnostic imaging, soft tissue surgery, and orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Deck enjoys visiting with family and friends, and spending time outdoors when the weather is nice.
