Margaux Werle

Margaux Werle, DVM

Dr. Margaux grew up in Potomac, Maryland. She earned her undergraduate degree from The University of Miami followed by her veterinary degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She started out her career rotating through multiple veterinary specialties at a one-year internship in New York. She moved to Kentucky to become an emergency veterinarian at a specialty hospital where she shortly became the emergency medical director for three years. She decided to transition to a career in general practice to have more of a long-term relationship with her patients and their owners. Dr. Margaux has a special interest in ophthalmology, surgery, emergency medicine, and internal medicine.

Some of her favorite hobbies include Pilates, Pickleball, skiing, knitting, reading, and cooking. Dr. Ben and Dr. Margaux enjoy the company of their Westie, Bonnie, and their German Shorthaired Pointer, Bubba. In addition to her duties as a veterinarian, Dr. Margaux looks forward to becoming a mentor for future externs and new veterinarians joining the AHNMB team.
