Karen Bolten, DVM

Dr. Bolten earned her veterinary degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She joined the Animal Hospital of North Myrtle Beach team in 2021 and has special interests in dentistry and improving the quality of life of geriatric patients. Dr. Bolten has over 12 Betta fish, a cat named Bob Loblaw, and is a devoted #dogmom to a Whippet named Aggy, an Italian Greyhound named Nina, a Pit Bull named Ziggy, and a Frenchie named Louis. She is currently attending Coastal Carolina University to pursue her Master of Business Administration and plans to graduate in 2022. When Dr. Bolten is not working or studying, she enjoys spending time with her many pets, traveling, visiting art museums, and social media marketing.
